I WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT

i started spark people this morning but i had no energy all day. i was hungry too. how do you lose weight? tomorrow i am going to the field day at my daughter's school so i should get some exercise in. once you put the weight on you can't get it off. i need to exercise more and get rid of the junk food in this house.

HEY GUYS!!!

hi! i haven't been on in a few days. carly went back to school thursday. the lice is gone. i had a tooth extracted while she was in school. i am taking motrin and penicilin every 6 hours. it has been raining on & off here for a few days. tuesday carly's school has their field day. it has been cancelled twice before.

for those of you who have children have you ever had to get a doctor's note so the school can apply sunscreen to your child? i think that is ridiculous. some doctors here in ny charge you for filling out forms.

tomorrow is flag day make sure you hang your flag in your window or outside.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE SWITCH TO DIGITAL TV JUNE 12TH?

i don't understand why they did the switch. i have a tv in my kitchen that i don't have direct tv for. we bought converter boxes with the government coupons. the tv in the kitchen works off & on with the converter box. my sister has a tv on the 2nd floor with a converter box and it works fine. i am on the first floor. my sister bought me a small tv that does not need a converter box i move that around the kitchen to get reception. anything to make money the government does.

WHEN YOU'RE RIGHT YOU'RE RIGHT

my friend monica is getting a new sidewalk done today. i told her you are supposed to leave a walkway for pedestrian traffic she tells me no as long as you have a permit. i called 311 they said yes you are not supposed to stop pedestrian traffic. people think they know everything until they get into trouble.

WEIGHT GAIN AFTER YOU BECOME A MOTHER

Most mothers gain weight after they have a baby especially if they stay home. My mother used to say when she worked she had a reason to take care of herself. She said being home you let yourself go. The one thing I don't understand is why do a lot of women I know who are mothers who still work are overweight and they weren't before they had children. If you work and have a family how do you have time to overeat. I thought I looked bad being home with my daughter but then I look at others and I don't feel so bad about my appearance.
